Borer Beetles

They quote you for unnecessary electrical repair work, don’t do all of it and then refuse to give you a detailed cost breakdown of the work they said they did. The icing on the cake was that the work they did to make the stove extractor fan “complaint” in fact now makes it non-compliant. I checked with a bona fide qualified electrician who confirmed that is illegal (and very unsafe!) to have one plug socket as an extension off another, which then plugs into a multi-plug adapter (see photo). They seem to be exploiting the situation whereby they do the inspections but then force you to have the repairs done by themselves as well, which is a conflict of interest. Rather just get a professional and reputable electrical contractor and perhaps pay a little more for the CoC but then know they wont rip you off with unnecessary repair work.
