I did not personally engage Pestagone at 12th Avenue, Newton Park. Rather, the seller of the property used Pestagone to provide a certificate stating that the premises were free of wood-destroying organisms. Once I took ownership and began renovations, I discovered a severe, long-standing wood borer infestation that contradicted Pestagone’s findings. The recommended remediation now involves extensive fumigation and has imposed substantial unexpected costs. My experience raises serious concerns about the thoroughness and reliability of Pestagone’s inspection process.
